I was a huge Twisted Sister fan during their brief heyday. I still have my cassette of Stay Hungry and I even pull it out and listen to it on occasion. That was the one and only album of theirs that I bought.

Completely a Gimmick Band. Just like Rob Zombie in this era.

"It's all over but the SHOUTING...
I've come to take what's mine!"
Just Eat Us. The Smile is optional!!!

you obviously haven't heard all of TS

I had completely forgotten TS, until about 3 years ago, when, of all people, my Calculus 3 professor mentioned them in class while lecturing about a figure known as a 'twisted cubic'. It has nothing to do with this thread, but I thought it was a cool story. Imagine a 50 year old math whiz, about 6'6", 140 lbs., completely awkward in EVERY imaginable form, listening to that stuff!

Sheds a little light onto what all those professors REALLY do for fun, huh?

never a huge fan of their work, but it's cool

Here's my take of Twisted sister...

Dudes dressing up like chicks is NOT fresh.
Some of they're songs were kinda catch though, I'll give them that.

"Honey, arn't you gonna catch a cold dressed like that?" - Dave
"We're not in the music business, we're in the business of making music." - Edward
"Yeah, I saw a yard gnome once...it didn't scare me." - Space Ghost
