Had nothing better to do today (took the day off), so my buddy & I went by the arena box office to see if they had any more info on the postponement. The gear/trucks were all there apparently, they were just never unpacked. The woman at the counter would absolutely not discuss the issue, other than to say it was a "management" issue. Take it for what it's worth...
After looking at the video,it seems Ed was trying to topple that stack of amps on Dave's head.My guess is there's definite friction and thats why they cancelled the dates.
It's funny, if you watch between Eds amps and Als drums right when the amps are knocked over you can see Wolfie running and then Ed is right behind him.
Run Wolf Run, daddy's pissed!!!!!!!!!!! jk

Given the band's history, it's not out of line to assume the worst case scenario. If the tour imploded because of drinking, drugs, fights between members, screwing someone's significant other, etc, could you honestly say you would be surprised?
No shit. Deja Vu for me. Saint Louis got cancelled back on October 28th and they rescheduled it five months later on March 30th. I've had this weird feeling that the March date will be a no-go also.
I don't remember seeing this happen to any other bands I've seen in recent years, so there is definitely room to assume the worst. Alcoholism, addiction, and dysfunction go hand-in-hand.
Anybody wanna buy some Saint Louis tickets for cheap?

Yeah it is out of line. RECENT history suggests that whether or not they are getting along, the tour is basically unstoppable at this point. They are making tons of $, it's going fine, and they have momentum. One show has already been postponed and rescheduled.
So yeah, given RECENT history, it's pretty silly for everyone to start insisting the band is breaking up because of another postponment or two.

Its seems to me that if it's due to an implosion, the entire tour would've been cancelled.
It's gotta be something like the flu or an illness in the family.
Atlanta weather forecast for Monday is sunny and 60's.
But there have been blocks of really good side, lower level seats available through Ticketmaster for the Duluth show for the past couple of weeks. Still were this morning. Slow sales (especially in the wake of the sound debacle in Atlanta) could be a reason here.
Yeah, they could be pulling a Kelly Clarkson. But I have my odds on an illness with a band member or in the family.
Read the Tampa reviews. Sounds like Ed is wasted again to me. For those of you who are sure he isn't, then what is your explanation? We're talking about a guy who just got out of rehab folks. Van Halen postponed their tour in 2007 due to Eddie's addiction problems, and 2004 was a joke.
I am so not looking forward to Saint Louis on March 30th. I have serious doubts that it will even take place. Call me a pessimist or whatever, I don't give a fuck. I've been seeing bands for over 30 years and never had this happen before.
There is reportedly a bad roof leak a JPJ. The UVA basketball game vs GA Tech was postponed last night.
My bad, Roof leak was in Atlanta, where the game was supposed to be played.
the notice posted on the VH News Desk said they'd have a re-sked date announced soon. Everyone is so quick to suggest the band has dismantled...brutal.
I bet you're also the only person in the world that is shocked when Britney Spears shows her vagina to the world.

I wouldn't even suggest it's a Kelly Clarkson situation. She couldn't have sold out the Roxy. I'd blame piss-poor scheduling by Live Nation.. plus its strategy to release tickets in waves, rather than right off the bat when the buzz is better.
The postponements could be due to any of a thousand reasons. We'll probably never know for sure.
