I think the new CD will be folk. Maybe a bit of polka as well.

Just my humble opinion.

Don't forget a tuba solo by Eddie himself...

Let's see, the last VH product was released in 2004. Since that time (if you count 2003) Kings of Leon have released FOUR Cds, each one taking them from underground to further up the food chain, to where an actual somewhat unique somewhat rocking band has the number 4 song in the country almost a year after the CD was released amongst a pile of steaming crap.

Since 1998 when the last full "new" CD was released, the band everyone loves to hate, Creed, have already sold millions on 4 cds or so, broken up for FIVE OR SIX YEARS, had a second band have TWO CDs AND reunited with a tour and CD.

Miley Cyrus was 6 years old when VH III came out.

Britney Spears ENTIRE CAREER has taken place since VH III

The University of Alabama's Football Stadium will have been expanded THREE TIMES by the time a new CD comes out, if EVH wandered into the studio tomorrow. It will have gone from 83,000 to 101,000 capacity since VH III.

Johnny Cash had SEVEN non compilation CDs released since 1998....and he died in 2003 at the age of 71.

Gasoline averaged 1.03 a gallon

The ENTIRE Harry Potter disaster has taken place since VH III was in the process of being recorded.

There have been 36 space shuttle flights including a 2 year hiatus because of the Columbia crash.

Google did not exist at the time of release.

So EVH, don't knock yourself out too much getting some music out there buddy....after all...what possibly could be accomplished in just ten years?

Man, where you living at hoss? I am packing my bags right now! Haven't seen those prices since oh say, about 1982.

Other than that, you have lots of good points.

Kings of Leon? I never hear them on the radio. At least not on the ROCK stations I listen to. Y'know....the ROCK AND ROLL stations?!?!?

Creed? Wow, so far you have a great argument in the making here! Creed! The band everybody loves to hate.....and for good reason. Because they are annoying, bullshit ROCK. Next....

Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears....both careers are ALREADY heading down the shitter.....Spears' is already in the plumbking below the shitter and Miley's is going to be there after a drug, partying and sex addiction in 3-4 years.

Johnny Cash...can't agrue with you there.

I blame Ed for not releasing an album in 10 years. I do. But to use examples such as Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, Kings of Leon and Creed to prove your point that SO MUCH could have been accomplished by Ed in the 10 years that he didn't do anything is just....well....it's FUCKIN' NUTS, partner!!!

I respect your opinions but I think they are crazy.

I make no comments on the quality, it is only to represent how much time has passed and how much WORK PRODUCT and change has occurred in the length of time EVH has been sitting on his ass.

How about another one....Tiger Woods won his first masters in the same year VH III was recorded.

Tom Brady was a Sophomore at Michigan when VH III was released.

"Only By the Night" is a great album. And Creed, I like those guys. They put on a good show a couple weeks back.
