In an effort to raise money to keep VHLinks going, we are introducing our "Premium Member" service for users of our message forums. For just $5 a year, you will get 10 megs of disk space on our site for uploads, custom avatars, downloads, and more!
If you're wondering why we are doing this, please read this thread.
For the $5 yearly membership fee, here is currently what you'll get on our forums.
1. Ability to have custom avatars.
2. Larger Private Message box (1,500 messages)
3. 10 megabytes of space to upload files.
4. The ability to download
5. Access to member-only forum
We'll probably change and add some things over time, but this is how it's going to be for starters. The whole goal of this program is simply to fund the $150 a month server charges that I can no longer afford to keep paying out of our own pocket.
Ok I want to do this, how do I pay?
There are a few ways to do this, pick which ever one is best for you.
1. If you plan to use PayPal, and want to buy a 1 or 2 year plan, you can click the link below. You will get an email saying that you need to renew when you are about to run out. Also you can track how far you've gone in your subscription, by going to "Paid Subscriptions" in the USER CP. You will automatically become a "Premium Member" after you pay. It's very simple. You will have access to the new Premium Forums right after payment goes through.

2. "Hey VHLinks, I want to pay give more than that." Well I don't know why you would, but you can of course use the Donate link above and pay through PayPal any amount you wish, and we'll apply it accordingly. Make sure you put your username in the comments, so we make sure to set you up properly as your account won't be activated automatically.
3. "Hey VHLinks I hate PayPal, I don't want to use it." Not a problem, drop Brett a private message on the board and he'll give you an address you can send your payment to.
Ok that's all, looking forward to seeing this Premium Member thing grow and helping the site stay alive, and at the same time give you guys some different things to try around here.
We do reserve the right to make changes to the plan, although we don't anticipate any problems.
