More things begin to leak out from the Van Halen camp. Here's the first glimpse of what will be the cover of Van Halen's 36-song greatest hits package, "The Best Of Both Worlds." The CD is due to be released in the US on July 20, 2004. Also, there is a newsfeed from last night's "dress rehearsal" at a Sony soundstage in LA that you can watch.
To view the newsfeed from a short KTLA Channel 5 report, follow the following steps:
1. Go to this url: http://ktla.feedroom.com/iframeset.jsp?ord=894952
2. Click the "Enter" button.
3. Click the "Music" link in the top left.
4. Click on the "Van Halen" image and the feed will start.
You'll see about 10 seconds of live footage from VH performing "It's About Time" along with a few short comments from Mike and Ed. Note to Ed: PUT THE HAIR DOWN!
