Van Halen
The Van Halen wheel keeps turning as the band gets closer to taking the stage for the first time in six years. Today, the Official Van Halen Web Site was updated with an all-new look for 2004!

The site, while not complete yet, features an all-new black and gold color scheme, and a brand new Van Halen swirled logo. The new logo sits over a translucent globe-like sphere, with fire shooting out from the top. It's not clear if that logo will be used on a possible Van Halen "Best Of Volume II" album, rumored for release in June.

This is the first major upgrade to the site's look in three of four years, and is a very nice improvement over the last design. Most of the sections are not complete yet as of this writing. There is certainly a lot of information that needs to be converted over to the new format, and will probably take some time for the site's webmaster Brad Starks to update. The one noticeable change is the removal of the link to the band's message board, the "Pleasure Dome."

Below is a screen shot of the new site. So if you haven't stopped by to check it out, make sure you do, it's definitely very nice work.
