VAN HALEN Warner Bros. (1978) [Remastered] Van Halen's classic debut, with the hits "Runnin' With The Devil," "You Really Got Me," "Ain't 'Talkin' 'Bout Love," and the immortal "Eruption." Simply put, this is rock's greatest guitar album of the last 25 years, and arguably one the best debut records of all time.

WOMEN AND CHILDREN FIRST Warner Bros. (1980) [Remastered] Van Halen's third album, and probably David Lee Roth's most impressive vocal performance of his career with Van Halen. FAIR WARNING Warner Bros. (1981) [Remastered] Van Halen's fourth album, and a new direction for the band. Easily the band's darkest effort, which sold poorly compared to its three predecessors. Album is now considered one of the band's best with guitar screamers like "Mean Street," "Hear About It Later," "So This Is Love?" and the classic "Unchained." A must-have record for all Van Halen fanatics.

DIVER DOWN Warner Bros. (1982) [Remastered] Following the relative commercial failure of Fair Warning, Van Halen produced a more pop-oriented album with several cover songs including, Roy Orbison's "(Oh) Pretty Woman," and The Kinks' "Where Have All The Good Times Gone." Generally regarded as one of the weakest VH records, it does contain some classic originals, "Little Guitars," "Secrets," and "The Full Bug."

OU812 Warner Bros. (1988) The band's eighth album, its title a dig at David Lee Roth and his 1986 solo effort, "Eat 'Em And Smile." An album with strong songs, but marred by poor production. Still the band topped the Billboard charts for the second straight time. Contains the hits "When It's Love," "Feels So Good," "Finish What Ya Started," and "Black And Blue."

FOR UNLAWFUL CARNAL KNOWLEDGE Warner Bros. (1991) On their ninth album, the band took the "back to the basics" approach, with Eddie all but abandoning the synthesizer for more guitar-driven tunes, reminiscent of Van Halen of the early 80's. The result--another #1 album, and hits like "Poundcake," "Runaround," "Top Of The World," and the much-praised "Right Now."

LIVE: RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW Warner Bros. (1993) The band's only released live album, recorded from the 1991-92 F.U.C.K. tour. While the set list upset some die hard Van Halen fans, just getting a dose of live Van Halen is certainly worth the price alone.

VAN HALEN III Warner Bros. (1998) The band's only effort with former Extreme frontman Gary Cherone on lead vocals. Songs represented a much different direction for the band, and the album left fans with mixed reactions on both the music and Cherone. Despite debuting at #4 on the Billboard charts, the album failed to reach Platinum status in the US, the only Van Halen album not to do so. Highlights include, "Without You," "Fire In The Hole," and "Dirty Water Dog."
