::. Diver Down - The #1 Van Halen Tribute Band Formed in 1983 (yes, 1983!), this band has gone through several lineup changes, but the spirit of Van Halen is still alive and well. Among their alumni is Extreme/Steve Vai drummer, Mike Mangini. Diver Down has played up and down the East Coast and performed at the David Lee Roth Convention in NYC in 1999. thepartyboy Rating: 10 21-Apr-2005 dude, these guys are truly amazing. they are the greatest tribute band i have found for van halen. their singer sounds just like david lee roth, and for christs sake, michael anthony effin' played with the band. it is honestly like you are back with the band during the late 70s early 80s. truly amazing, if i could i'd give a 20 out of 10. we salute you atomic punks
